Folliculitis is essentially acne of the hair follicles. It is characterized by the formation of red bumps and pustules around hairs on hair-bearing areas of the body particularly thighs, groin, and buttocks.

KERATOSIS PILARIS
Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is commonly referred to as “chicken skin”. It is most often seen on the upper arms but can occur on the thighs and face. It is characterized by very small white or red bumps that make the skin feel rough. It usually does not itch and is never painful. KP is common in childhood and many people outgrow it in adulthood but it can persist for some impacting self-esteem. It can worsen in the winter months as skin becomes drier.
KP is treated with intense emollients, moisturizers the draw water deep into the skin. Other treatments we offer include:
